Obituary of Wilhelm Kappel

Kappel, Wilhelm- Suddenly at home, on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the age of 81. Dear husband of Hedwig for 56 years, beloved father of Will (Debbie), Peter (Cheryl) and Susanna (Richard) Reid. Loving Opa of Laura, Christopher, Meaghan, Alexandra, Kelsey, Melissa and Diana, and brother of Maria (Mitzi) in Germany. Wilhelm is predeceased by his brother Franz, and sisters Caroline and Paula. He will also be missed by his faithful companion Fritz. Wilhelm was born in Sopron, Hungary, proudly learned his bricklaying trade in Germany, and brought his young family to Canada in 1956. Wilhelm ("Bill") was a G.M. retiree. Cremation has taken place. At Wilhelm's request there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
