Obituary of Bruna Josephine Panici
Panici, Bruna - On July 17, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 83rd year. Cherished wife of Giuseppe for over 63 years. Loving mother of Venerino (Suzanne) and Georgio (fianc�©e Esmeralda Periera). Devoted Nonna of Kelvyn, Elyse, Larissa and Karlene. Survived by her two brothers in Italy, Otavio and Modesto Oliva, and their children. Bruna was very involved in her church at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish and a member of the Catholic Women's League. She was very passionate about her family, family life, friends, her rose garden, and being involved with Club Roma, and in the later years with the Seniors Group.
Mrs. Panici is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street until Wednesday at 10:30am. Visiting hours are Tuesday between 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral on Tuesday at 3:30pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Wednesday at 11am. A graveside service will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Catharines General Cancer Care Centre.
