Obituary of Joyce Rothwell

ROTHWELL JOYCE Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday August 8, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 82 years of age. Beloved wife of Gerald for 61 years. Loving mother of Kenneth, Dan (Donna), Glyn (Marilyn) and Brian (Patti). Cherished grandma of 7 grandchildren and 3 great grand daughters. Dear sister of Bette and the late Bill Zalba, Ted (Mavis) Collins, the late Ron Collins. Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Merritton, where she proudly called it her home. Joyce is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. where a service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Monday at 10:30am. Burial in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to Extendi Care Home or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
