Although I have not seen Suzanne for a number of years, this bright smile is so familiar to me, and such a tremendous loss for the family. During our High School days, and when Suzanne went off to U of T., we remained close and had so much fun. The Baker's house on Woodbine was like a second home to me in those days. My sincere sympathy to the family, the loss of Suzanne so early in life is a tragedy. I will miss her.

To Randall and the Baker family.
I am so sad to hear of Sue's passing. I knew Sue when we were at U. of T. together. We shared a house with others on Borden Street and had wonderful times there. I remember Sue as a soft-spoken, gentle, bright young woman. The first wedding I ever sang at was Sue and Randall's and it was so lovely. I have just looked again at my pictures from that wedding 25 years ago and it seems like yesterday.
I have recently lost an important loved one and know how hard it is and how long the path of grief can be. I hope for all of you that gradually the pain you feel will be replaced by the beautiful memories you have of Sue and that those memories give you comfort. I extend to you my most sincere condolences.
Fondly,
Nina Richmond

Thoughts and prayers are with all the family as you come to terms with Suzanne passing so suddenly. The fond memories of our youth together have been ringing through my mind. I always cherished the times we spent playing as children on Woodbine Ave, and walking together every day to St. James School. She certainly taught me a lot about life in our time as best childhood friends.

Dear Mr. Mrs. Baker, Danette, Donald Jr. & Family -
Words cannot express my feeling of loss in hearing about Sue's tragic passing last week. I cannot imagine not being able to talk to her or see her again. Even though we did not see each other very often and only talked infrequently since she moved to the US, I considered her my closest girlfriend ever since we met at U. of T., whom I had shared more with than anyone else over the years. It always felt like it was only yesterday when we had last met, each time we got together or talked. Sue was so kind, calming, trustworthy and a comfort to be with - very few in this world like her. My parents also remember her fondly and are deeply saddened by her passing. I know the loss for you is immeasurable and will never be overcome. Please accept my deepest sympathy and know I will always remember her as my dearest friend. She will always be in my prayers.

With the loss of my brother Mark at the end of June I know first hand the impact of losing someone so young and so suddenly, my prayers are with you all. Remember the laughter and gather some photos and pay tribute to her life and the footprint she made on this earth and in your hearts. God bless.
