Obituary of Durante La Valle

LAVALLE, Durante - Passed away peacefully at home on Friday August 22, 2008 in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Mary. Loving father of Daniel (Tara) LaValle and Dino (Jen Romeo) LaValle and adored Nonno of Emma. Cherished son of Gabriele and the late Carmela LaValle. Durante will be fondly remembered by his siblings Nevilia (Guido) Delli Castelli of Penne Italy and Milva (Paul) Sztanko. He was the admired son-in-law of Domenico and the late Angelina Felice. Brother-in-law of John (the late Lilly) Felice and Tony (Joanne) Felice. He will be sadly missed by his nephews Antonello (Nada) , Gabriele (Daniela), Matthew, Michael, Anthony and Mark and his nieces Kristina, Christina (David) and Laurie (Gino). Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday August 25 from 2-4 and 6-9. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from St. Vincent de Paul Church, 73 Picton St., N-O-T-L, on Tuesday August 26th at 10:30 a.m. with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be held at 00:00 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Michael's Hospital or the Heart & Stroke Foundation Hospital would be greatly appreciated by his family.
