Obituary of Rosemarie Josephine Gallagher

GALLAGHER, Rosemarie (Presto) Passed away peacefully on August 26, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS. Loving wife of the late James Gallagher (1975). Much loved Mom and best friend to Joanne (Bernie) Buschmann and Kathryn (Richard) Cull. Precious Nana to Amanda (Drew) Cull ; Courtney (Michael) Flook; Nathan and Lauren Buschmann. Great-Nana to Mitchell Flook. Dear sister of Jennie Zaroda and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Mary Capitano, Santa Guerriero, Carmen Redman and brother Tony Presto. Sister-in-law of Mary (Clayton) Eccles, Audrey Presto and Lawrence Redman. Rose was a hairdresser who operated her own salon for many years. She will be remembered as an unselfish, loyal friend. She gave her family unconditional love and has left them with many beautiful memories. At Rose's request, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass to celebrate her life will take place on Saturday, September 6th at 9:30am at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Tender Wishes or the Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre would be appreciated by the family. "S.W.1.M.K'S."
