Obituary of Warren Joseph Rockwell

ROCKWELL, Warren Joseph Born in Joggins, Nova Scotia April 24, 1929. Passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS. Predeceased by his wife Helen (1999). Dearly loved father and best friend to Brian (Marla), Brenda (Blake) and Mary-Ellen (Mike). Awesome grandpa of Tami, Kelly, Rebecca and Eric. Great grandfather of Scott, Bethany, Kiersten, Michael and Ashley. He is also survived by his brother Wellington (Rocky). Predeceased by his two sisters Genevieve (Sweet) LeBlanc and Marion Boychuck. The family is also grateful for the love and support of Dad's best friends Craig and Julie Upper. Thanks to the Palliative Care Nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital. In accordance with Warren's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday, September 1, 2008, at 1 p.m.. Public visiting will be held one hour prior to the service, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
