Our deepest sympathy in the loss of a husband, father and grandfather. I knew Joe for many years. We actually went to Niagara District High School together. At the time we both were in our senior years in high school. Joe was in the tech class and I was in the business class. Our classes shared a "spare" class together. We graduated the same year, and to our surprise ended up both working at the St. Lawrence Seaway. Joe started working earlier there than I did; I started the same year but in the late summer. There were several of us from Niagara District that ended up working at the Seaway. He retired earlier than I did. I retired in 2008. Joe was always willing to help. I remember on a couple of occasions running into problems with my car and he was so helpful. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. With deepest regrets, Ed and Lena Reimer.
