Obituary of William McIntosh
McIntosh, William: Bill went to sleep surrounded by love and to begin his new journey on March 19, 2011. He was a true Gentleman and a gentle man who was loved by his darling wife Mima for more than 64 years. He will be forever remembered by his family Alison, Ron, Rose, grand daughter Krysten (Mark) precious great grandson Ethan, grandsons Ryan, Jeff, and Brad; along with family and friends in Scotland. Bill met Mima when they worked at Rolls Royce and they came to Canada in 1951. He was employed at Lightning Fastener and G.M. Bill was a member of Westminster United Church for 60 years; a 50 year member and past Master of St. Andrew's Lodge #661; 32nd Degree Mason the Scottish Rite; The Scottish Craftsmen; honorary member of Dunlop Drive Seniors Centre, the Scottish Club; Glenridge Lawn Bowling and the St. Catharines Computer Club. Bill spent the last days of his life in the warm, caring atmosphere of Hospice Niagara. He was treated with great kindness and dignity by Dr. Kerley, Dr. Steve, and all the wonderful staff. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. If so desired memorial remembrances may be made to Hospice Niagara or Ontario Brain Injury. One more angel in heaven, one more star in the sky
