Obituary of Norman R. Boychuck
BOYCHUCK, Norman R.
Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, September 27, 2008, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Myrtle for 56 years. Norman leaves behind his children James (Patricia), Kimberley, Brian (Deborah), Tom (Lorena), grandchildren Hilary (Greg), Victoria (Andrew), Deanna, Reece, Cole, Celine and many nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Frank and Laurie, and his sister Victoria (Richard) Logan. Predeceased by his parents Lena and Michael, his sisters Kay and Ann and brothers Carl, Cecil, Victor and William. We will always have happy memories of watching him work in his garden. His giant tomatoes were always the talk of the neighbourhood. Just as important were his favourite apple trees, which always made everyone laugh because they only produced three or four apples a year. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his family, friends and neighbours, especially his life long friends Ralph (Pierrette) Gibbs and Frank (Irene) Lloyd. We thank everyone for their support and kindness throughout his illness. Special thanks to Trisha for everything. Your love and kindness was an inspiration to us all. Thanks also to Dr. Hartman, Peter, Nancy and all the support staff from Bayshore Caregivers. Mr. Boychuck's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday, September 29, 2008, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral liturgy outside of Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday September 30, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.. The Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer society or to Dr. Sandra Hartman Palliative Care. Rest in eternal peace. You will be in our hearts forever.
