Obituary of Ronald Walter Charkowy

CHARKOWY, RONALD "Ronnie" With broken hearts, our family announces the sudden passing of Ronald Walter Charkowy on September 27, 2008, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in his 50th year. Ronnie is survived by the lights of his life, his children, Shelby Jane "Baboo" (age 13), and Michael Thomas (age 11). Ronnie is predeceased by his mother Lorraine (1986) and his father Kenneth (1989). Ronnie also leaves behind his loving brothers Richard and David (Kathy) and his sister Susan (Ken) Secord. Ronnie will be missed by his aunts and uncles MaryAnn Buck, Diane Orr, Karen (Richard) Eyman, Cindy (Clarence [2006]) and uncle Daniel (Irene). Ron will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews, in addition, Ron will forever missed by his life long "best" friend David Primeau. In accordance with Ronnie's wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St., on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 1 p.m.. Inurnment to follow service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, October 02, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home Thursday evening at 7 p.m.. If desired as an expressions of sympathy donations may be given in trust to Shelby and Michael Charkowy or to the March of Dimes. When we have been loved, we will be remembered and will never truly be gone.
