Obituary of Mary Hladysh

HLADYSH, Maria (aka Baba) It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and baba on Saturday March 19, 2011, just short of her 94th birthday. Loving wife of the late Michael (1998). She will be fondly missed by her loving children, Nadia (John), Christine, Raymond (Patti); her grandchildren Lara, Mark (Laura), Adrian, Olena (Jay), Courtney (Tom), Ashley (Tony), and her great-grandchildren Johnathan, William and Ryan. Mom was very active in the Ukrainian community, being a life-long member of OYK- Ukrainian Women's Organization of Canada. She loved music and could always be found enjoying social events. Baba's pies were the best! The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday, March 22 from 6-9 p.m. with Panachyda at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vichnaya Pamyat
