Obituary of Kathleen Linda Michaud

MICHAUD, Kathleen Linda (nee O'Donnell)- Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2008, at the Niagara-On-The-Lake Hospital, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Paul (1977). Beloved mother of Madeleine (Des) Corran, John (Annette), Anne (Pat) Goodwin, Edward (Barb) and predeceased by her son Michael (Liz). Cherished Nana of Sandy, David, Stephen, Mary Anne, Doug, Michael, George, Peter, Lisa, Laura, Heather and Linda. "Nana the Great" to 13 great grandchildren. Kathleen was a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and a long time member of the Catholic Woman's League. One of her greatest passions was working with the Girl Guides of Canada, she was also a member of the Trefoil Guild. Thank you to the nurses from the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital and a special thanks to Fr. Andrew Goodwin for his spiritual guidance and compassionate support. Kathleen is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St.. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2008, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home Friday afternoon at 3 p.m.. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 31 Chestnut St. East, on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Mount Carmel Retirement Home.
