Words can not express our sadness on the loss of this beautiful woman. Always so loving and kind to anyone who knew her. Elizabeth grew up in Holland and went on to marry her one and only love Augustine, or Gus as we call him. Can you imagine spending 61 years of your life with someone and then losing this person. My heart goes out to Gus. He was there for her everyday. Not a day went by that he didn't look after her at home or find away to the hospital to sit at her bedside. Elizabeth is now at peace. No one should have to suffer like she did, but her loving family and friends were there for her until the end. The one sad thing that really touched me was her Granddaughter Lisa had her plane ticket to fly from Holland to see her Grandmother while she was ill. Elizabeth passed away before Lisa could see her. She is now in Canada staying with her Grandfather and instead of enjoying a beautiful day with her Grandma, she will be attending her funeral. I met Lisa today and all I can say is how sorry I felt for her and what a wonderful person she is.
Goodbye Elizabeth!
The suffering is over and you can finally Rest in Peace.
Love you!
