Dear Roman and family. Roman, I have very warm memories of your father going back to the days when you would come to Ostanek's for accordion lessons. Your father was always so kind and gentle and warm and always exhibited great interest in your progress. he made an impact on me as his patience, sincerity and demeanour were characteristics that i admired and I've always remembered. Even on occasions when I would see him at the local deli, he always remembered me and he took the time to say hello. I have not seen him in several years but, though I do not know why, he comes to me in thought quite often. I only found out about his passing and I am sorry to say I cannot come to the funeral. However, I would like to extend my most sincere condolences to you and all the members of the Michalko family. I am sure that all of you have have treasured memories of him that you will always cherish.
