Redfearn, Muriel Francis Florence (Nee: Hendsby)
Suddenly after a brief illness on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at St. Catharines General Hospital in her 69th year. Loving wife and best friend to Ralph for 50 years. Loving mother of Cheryl Johnsen (Gary Miller), David (Sherry), Michael, Linda Moore, Tim (Rena), Valerie (John) Terpstra, Sandra Stephenson. Dear Nanny to 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Muriel was looking forward to the upcoming births of her 2 great grandchildren. Dearest sister of Bruce and Betty-Anne Hendsby, Melvin and Judy Hendsby, Bonnie and Bob Turner and sister-in-law of Paul and Joan Redfearn. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Wentzel and Florence Hendsby and sister Gloria, brother and sister-in-law Harry and Kay Redfearn. Muriel was former president of the Women†™s Bowling League, was an avid bowler, member of Euchre League of Thorold and worked in the cafeteria at St. Catharines Court House for many years. "Known by many, loved by all".
Muriel is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where a service to Celebrate her Life will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with interment in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Visiting Hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Remembrances can be made to Palliative Care at St. Catharines General Hospital or Breast Cancer Research. Thank you to Dr. O. Waler and the special nurses for your care and compassion.
