Obituary of Ernest Adrien Fournier

FOURNIER, Ernest Adrien January 29, 1912- November 25, 2006 Peacefully in his 95th year at the Roy Adams Center (Linhaven). Predeceased by his wife Marie (2004) and his son Urbain (1959). Cherished father of Odile (Spedaliere) of St. Catharines, Bernie and his wife Joy of Alberta, Therese of Quebec, Moe and his wife Margaret of Kitchener, Nick and his wife Lynn of St. Catharines. Survived by his 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Ernest, with his family, immigrated to Canada in 1952 from Switzerland. He retired from VIA Rail in 1976. He was a member of Eglise Immaculee Conception. Ernest's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, November 29th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Eglise Immaculee Conception, Garnet Street, St Catharines on Thursday, November 30th at 11 am. Vigil prayers on Wednesday at 8:30pm. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Linhaven Home-Roy Adams Center would be appreciated by the family.
