Obituary of Herb Irving Matchett

Machett, Herb Irving Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Toronto General Hospital, on Monday November 27, 2006 aged 50 years. Beloved husband of Cheryl and loving dad of Ashleigh (Dewayne) and Darren. Loving son of Bill and Doreen Machett and son-in-law of Ella Scott and the late Vernon Scott. He is also survived by 13 of his brothers and sisters. Brother-in-law of Wayne (Celine), Linda (Mark), Weldon and Charlie. He was predeceased by brother-in-law Carson. Herb worked for over 26 years at the Interlake Paper Company in Thorold. He enjoyed bowling, golf, baseball, ball hockey and collecting cards. Herb's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street Thursday 7-9 pm. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Herb's life will be held in the chapel Saturday December 2,2006 at 10 am. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
