Obituary of Orville William Boles

Boles, Orville William - On December 15, 2006 at the Tufford Nursing Home in his 87th year, died peacefully in the presence of his family. Loving husband to Laura (nee Warner) for over 60 years. Beloved father to Vicki Zujko (Ed) of Detroit, Michigan, Eric (Marilyn) Boles of Niagara Falls and Lois Fretz (Don) of St. Catharines. Devoted Grandpa to Bryan (Cindy) Boles, Wendy Fretz, Justin Boles, Kevin Fretz all of St. Catharines and Jesse Boles of Niagara Falls. Also survived by his sister Lois Norris of Waubaushene and sister-in-law Betty Boles of St. Catharines. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Cliff (Lucille), Helen Aird (Gord), Doug(Mae), Reta Thomson (Jim), Lloyd and brother-in-law Rod Norris. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Don McMillan and the staff of Tufford Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care. Mr. Boles is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until 12:30pm on Wednesday. The Reverend Dorothy Hewlett will officiate a Celebration of Orville's Life in the George Darte Funeral Chapel at 1pm. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 7-9pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Interment will take place at the Warner Cemetery in Niagara Falls. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to either the St. George's Anglican Church, Homer or the Charity of Your Choice in Orville's honour.
