Obituary of Lee Marie Whitney-Young

WHITNEY YOUNG, LEE - On Monday January 1, 2007 at her residence in St. Catharines. Predeceased by her first husband Benjamin Whitney and later Stanley Young. Loving mother of Lee, Bernard, Paul, Valerie, Christopher and grandchildren Ben, Julia, Lee, Karen, Rachel, Liam and the late Paul Robert Pischedda. Dear sister of Mary Thorton. Lee was a member of the CWL of St. Alfred's Parish for over 45 years. Lee is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am.Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family. Sincere gratitude must also be expressed to the very special and unforgettable individuals with CCAC and Hospice Niagara for all their hardwork and thoughtful care of a very special lady.
