Obituary of Leonard James Anderson

Anderson, Leonard James (Len) -Passed away at home peacefully with his loving family by his side, on Tuesday January 9, 2007, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of 56 wonderful years to Gertrude (Steingert) Anderson. Loving dad of Carolyn (Mike) Heath of St. Catharines, Sharon (Paul) Verroche of Fonthill, and Janet (Gary) Disher of Virgil. Len will be sadly missed by his loving grandchildren Laura (Philip) de Vries, Allison and Jonathan Verroche, Jason and Bradley Disher. Dear bother of Thelma Mallet and Jean (Dave) Taylor all of Niagara Falls. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his infant son James, and by his brother William Anderson. A special thanks to Dr. Brian Kerley and Dr. Martin Samish and their helpful staff for their compassionate care and support toward our dad. Len's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Len's life will be held at St. David's Queenston United Church 1453 York Road on Saturday January 13, 2007 at 11 am. Inurnment to follow in St. David's Queenston Church Cemetery.
