Obituary of Gilbert Quenneville

Quenneville, Gilbert - On Friday January 12, 2007 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 69th year. Survived by his wife Francoise Harvey. Loving father to Natalie Papaiz (Bruno) and Astrid. Beloved grand-papa to David, Pierre and Alexandre. Brother to Robert, Paul (Elizabeth), Gerald (Madeleine), Gerrard (Andrea) and Norman (Barbara). Also survived by his sister-in-law Edith Larouche (Francois Xavier), brothers-in-law Leonard Harvery, Clement Harvey, Regis Harvey and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the many people that assisted at the scene of Gilbert's car accident on Monday. The ambulance attendants helped Dad and his friend Aline Desjardins. A big thank you to Sandy RN, Dr. Simon Kim, Dean RT, Fr. Goodwin, the Chaplains and the rest of the team at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Gilbert is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street until 10:30am on Tuesday. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Paroisse Immaculee Conception, 99-101 Garnet Street at 11am. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home at 8pm. Cremation will follow the church service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke in Gilbert's honour.
