Obituary of Zdzislaw Jaraczewski

JARACZEWSKI, Zdzislaw "James" Passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital- Fort Erie on Sunday, February 4, 2007 in his 84th year. Much loved husband of Stella for 56 years and father of Alicia, Barbara ( Nick) Bruce and Halina (Pierre) Michaud. Cherished Dziadek of Lee Anne and Stephen Bruce, Lauren, Courtney and Hunter Michaud. Also survived by his sister Lila in Poland. James, a Polish veteran of WWII, past president of the Polish Credit Union and former Regional Niagara employee, was known for his travelling adventures and musical talents. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton, St. Catharines on Thursday, February, 8th from 10am-12pm. A Funeral Liturgy Without Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:30pm. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
