It is with great sadness we announce the loss of our Mother, Grandmother, Wife Mary Lou at the St. Catharines General Hospital- NHS on Thursday February 15, 2007 in her 66th year. Strong in spirit and mind, daughter of the late Hugh J. and Elma J. McDonald (Sloan). Mary is survived by husband Boris, sons Danny (Susan), Rick (Kelly) and daughter Kelly (Tim).Loving grandmother of Sarah, Jessica, Andrew, Brett, Lucas and Michael. Survived by brothers Daniel, Bill, Brian, Larry (Marg), Leo, Donald and sisters Jackie (Don), Helen (John), Betty (Aime), Pauline (Art), Sheila (Jim) and Shirley (Fred). Predeceased by brothers Ronald, Bernard, Gerald,Patrick and sister Barbara (Bob) Lounsbury. The family would like to thank Dr's Brian Kerley and Jeanie Walton for their care. Also the compassion and care given by the Palliative Care nurses at St. Catharines General Hospital. A special thank you to Father Andy Goodwin for his guidance. Mary Lou's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Liturgy without mass will be held in the chapel on Monday February 19 2007 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the St. Catharines General Hospital.
