Obituary of Joseph Cetillio Ceci

Ceci, Joseph After a short illness at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday, March 2, 2007 in his 80th year. Joe is survived by his wife Diane, daughters Monica Penner and Cheryl Windling. Our special Uncle Joe will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and sadly missed by his friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents Gulia (1943) and Dominic (1963); his brothers: Ernie (1958) and Frank (1989) and sisters: Nina Colli (1955), Artemisia Marino (1994) and Mattie Scott (2004). Joe lived in Winnipeg for many years and moved to Ottawa in 1980 where he worked for Canada Post until 1998. He returned home to St. Catharines to enjoy retirement. Joe is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, March 7th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers for Joe will be said at 3:30pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, Glenridge and Glen Morris Drive, on Thursday, March 8th at 10:00am. Cremation. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
