Obituary of William Chalmers

CHALMERS, William (Bill) Peacefully on March 3rd, 2007 at the Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital in his 84th year. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret, dear father of Jessica and Doreen (George), devoted grandpa of Donna (Andy), Ian (Sharron) and Diane (Robin) and great grandfather of Cole , Leoni and Ryan. Bill was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge, St. Servanus No. 771 in Scotland, former Past Master of Kingsway Lodge No. 665 in Toronto, a member of St. Andrew's Lodge No.661 in St. Catharines and a proud member of the Scottish Craftsmen's Association. In accordance to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 11am. A private family inurnment will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
