Obituary of Alice Tomashewski

TOMASHEWSKI ALICE Peacefully, on Saturday March 24, 2007, at Versa Care Home.Alice was born in Rorketon, Manitoba on September 12, 1911. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Tomashewski (1991).Loving mother of John (Huguette) of California and Olga Zeliznak (the late Michael 1991) of St. Catharines. Cherished grandmother of Deborah (Harvey) Simpson of Colorado, Roxanne Smith, Gary (Eveling), Wade and Kimarie Tomashewski of California, Mitchell (Dayna) Zeliznak of Oakville, Tina (Scott) Grant of Vineland, Julie (Russ) Davidson of Niagara Falls and great grandmother of 8. Alice was predeceased by brothers, Bill, Steve, Peter, John, Mike and sisters Mary and Anne. She was a member of St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church where she volunteered in the kitchen for many years. Alice is resting wat the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 10am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:30am. Rite of committall in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm Panachyda will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 8pm. Memorial remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by ther family.
