Obituary of James Patrick Skehin

Skehin, James Patrick Jr. Peacefully at home on Sunday April 8, 2007 in his 47th year. Beloved son of Ann and James Skehin. Loving brother of Rita (George) Kostyk of St. Catharines, Dennis Skehin of St. Catharines, Mary Parker and her family Andrew and Matt of Jordan and Michael (Sandra) Skehin and their family Katie and Liz of St. Catharines. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins in U.S.A., Ireland and England.Jim was employed by the Niagara Catholic District School Board and various urban and rural schools for the past 21 years. He was a member of St. Julia Roman Catholic Church parish, Ed Learn Ford Ski Club in St. Catharines and a very avid bowler in the Niagara area. Jim's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton street on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held from St. Julia Roman Catholic Church 251 Glenridge Ave. on Friday April 13, 2007 at 10:30 a.m.. Rite of committal to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home Thursday evening at 7:30. If desired memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
