Obituary of Hilda Gladys Humpheys
HUMPHREYS HILDA GLADYS Peacefully, on Saturday April 14th, 2007, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Humphreys (2004). Loving mother of Ken (Edna) of Mississauga, Wayne (Valerie) of Bath and Alan (Betty) of St. Catharines. Cherished Grandmother of Bryan, Lisa (Dave), John (Colleen), Bill, Renee (Dave) and Michael. Great Grandmother of Ava Grace and Jackson. Dear sister of Alan Jackson (Louise), Barb (Bob) Bell and Ken (Molly) Cook.She is also survivied by many nieces and nephews who will miss her at the family picnics. She was predeceased by her 2 brothers Horace and Kenneth and 1 sister Edith. Hilda will be missed by her Salvation Army Church family and her many friends who have touched her life over the years.
Hilda's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A celebration of HIlda's life will be held in the Salvation Army Citadel, 400 Niagara St. St. Catharines, on Thursday April 19th, at 11am. Interment in Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. Memorial remembrances to the St. Catharines Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family
