Obituary of Antonio Sforza

Sforza, Antonio - Died peacefully on May 1, 2007 with his family beside him at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 86th year. Loving husband of Virginia for 58 years. Father of Placido, Sergio, Frank and daughters-in-law Ascenza, Rosanna and Christine. Loving Nonno (Nonnetto) of Anthony, Daniele, Margherita, Janice, Michael (Emily), Gina, Mark and many nieces and nephews. Antonio is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street until Friday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am in St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street. Visiting hours areThursday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be said in the funeral on Thursday at 3pm. Entombment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Catharines General Hospital Auxillary Memorial Fund in Antonio's honour.
