Obituary of Mair Mackey

MACKEY, Mair (Leigh) January 10th, 1931 - May 10th, 2007 Peacefully on May 10th at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS, after a truly courageous battle with cancer. Cherished wife and companion of 54 years to David, loving and devoted mum to Jennifer and Sandy and much loved Grandy to Emily, James and Davy. A memorial service to celebrate Mair's life will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 99 Ontario Street, St. Catharines, on Thursday, May 24th, 2007 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Community Care, Hospice Niagara or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family and can be made through the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. We are so very grateful to Dr. Findlay and Dr. Samosh and the nursing angels of both Oncology and Palliative Care at the St. Catharines General, for all their kindness and wonderful care.
