Dwyer,Gladys- Passed away peacefully on May 13th 2007, in her 85th year at Linhaven Home For The Aged in St. Catharines after a courageous battle with Alzheimers Disease.Predeased by her loving husband Frank.Loving mother to Ellen Clarke, Stella & Patrick Shea, Mary Dwyer, Frank & Jean Dwyer, Patrick Dwyer, Rita & Ric Collins, Barb and Rick Teeuwsen. Cherished Granny to Raymond(Andrea) Nick and Samantha, Paul, Kevin (Shelly), Bryan, David, Patrick, Jonathon, Tara Lynn, Brendan, Amy (Scott), Mary Catharine (Nathan), Timothy (Lindsay), Alaina and Caitlin. Great Granny to Ellieanna. Gladys will be sadly missed by many friends and family who often looked to her for inspiration and support.Gladys will be resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street ,St. Catharines.until Thursdayat 10;30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Star of The Sea Church ,34 Elgin Street on Thursday May 17th at 11:00 am . Visiting hours are Wednesday May 16 th from 2-4 pm and from 7-9 pm.Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:00 pm. If desired memorial donations may be made in Gladys`s honor to The Alzheimers Society and would be appreciated by the family.The family wishes to thank the staff at Linhaven for their loving care of " Gladdy".
