Obituary of Dorothy Soyko
Soyko, Dorothy - Passed away peacefully on February 26, 2011 in her 83rd year. Survived by her sisters Anne Momot and Olga Rogers. Predeceased by her brother Barney and brother in law George. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was an active member of St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church; retired from St. Catharines City Hall and also worked at Lightning Fastener. As an avid traveller, she was always ready to go anywhere with friends and family, be it California, the bowling alley or the casino. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street. Visiting will be on Tuesday at 10am -10:45am with a Funeral Ceremony to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Cremation will take place after the ceremony. For Dorothy's love of animals and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Lincoln County Humane Society would be appreciated.
