Obituary of Ellen Welsh Spence

Spence, Ellen Welsh It is with great sadness we announce the death of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Ellen died in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family, on Monday, June 4, 2007 in her 69th year. Beloved wife of William for 49 years, loving mother of Carol Spence McLean (Blair), Heather Goulet (Dale), the late William Jr., dearest Gran of Stephanie, Neil, Sarah and Laurel. Family will receive friends at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. on Monday, June 11, 2007 from 10 a.m. until service time. A Funeral Service to Celebrate Ellen's Life will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. Memorial Remembrances can be made to Canadian Cancer Society. At this time Ellen's family extend a special thank you to all of her friends for their care and support during her illness also to Dr. Sandra Hartman and support staff.
