Obituary of Joan Boal

BOAL, Joan It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Joan Boal at her home after a courageous battle on Wednesday, June 6th at the age of 69. Much loved mother of Laurie (Len) Farinacci, Cindy Boal, Chris (Tammy) Boal and Sherry Shiner. Loving grandmother of Carli, Luke (Fallon), Leah, Lana and Lenny and great grandmother of Carmine. She was loved and will be missed by her many friends. In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Joan's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, June 10th from 2-4pm. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, June 11th at 1pm . In lieu of flowers, in Joan's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Animal Assistance of Niagara and would be appreciated by the family.
