Obituary of Alfonso La Vigna

La Vigna Alfonso (Alfie) "Our Hero" Surrounded by his loving family, Alfonso passed peacefully, on Wednesday June 13th, 2007 at the Henderson Hospital, at 56 years of age. Loving husband of Angie for 30 years. Cherished father of Anita and her fiancee Frank Del Priore and Annette. Beloved son of Giovanni and Maria, loving brother of Antonietta La Vigna, Filomena Napolitano (Joe), Lisa Bilardo (Sam) and Anna Miotto (Tim). Will be missed by nieces and nephews Tony La Vigna, Johnny La Vigna, Carm and Mark Dedinsky (Rachel and Thomas), Lucy and Anthony Continelli, Lisa and Harvey Kolff (Carson), Anthony Napolitano, Pamela Bilardo and Sammy Bilardo, Andrew and Mark Miotto. Alfonso is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St until Monday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church on Monday at 9:30am. Entombment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9pm, no visitation on Sunday. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Henderson Hospital Bi Pap (Respiratory Unit) c/o Alfonso La Vigna. We would like to thank all extended family and friends for their continual love and support, especially Joe Carlomusto (Elena) and Ron Azotini (Mary Teresa).
