Obituary of Hilda Grevis

Grevis ( Hempel) Hilda -Passed away peacefully in her 91st year on July 1st ,2007. Will be dearly missed by her children Richard (Linda) Hempel and Shari (Ed) Klassen. Loving stepmother to Alice Bellar and step grandmother to Frank ,Brett and Jeff Walent. Loving grandmother to Richard (Melanie), James ,Mike (Tracey), Jeff (Chris). Great grandmother to Eddie, Michael, Jacob and to Jake. Survived by her sisters Lyd and Rene. Predeceased by her husband John and by her first husband Gus Hempel and by step grandson Floyd. Hilda was a wonderful wife,mother, grandmother and friend. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL,585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. Memorial service will be held at the Christ Lutheran Church,140 Russell Avenue, St. Catharines on Friday July 6th 2007 at 2pm. Hilda's family will receive visitors at the church on July 6th from 1-2pm. Internment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Memorial donations may be made in Hilda's honor to the Christ Lutheran Church- Nicaraguan Mission fund or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
