Obituary of Thelma Stewart

Stewart, Thelma Peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday July 3, 2007 at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Jim (H.J.) Stewart for over 53 years and loving mother of Jeanne (Larry) Argent, Linda (Arthur) Wilkins and Margaret (Patrick) DellaVecchia. Her sense of humour and her smile will live on in her grandchildren Lori (AL), Lisa (Jeremy), Patricia (Rob), P.J., and in her great grandchildren Robbie, Ryan, Mackenzie and Ray James (R.J.).She will be greatly missed by Uncle Bill & Aunt Shirley and family (Vaughn), brother-in-laws Fred (Gwen) and Bob (Barbara) Stewart and numerous nieces and nephews. Thelma was a very active member in the Welland Ave. United Church choir and Hand Bells, Louth Women's Institute and her involement with the Girl Guide's of Canada. A celebration of Thelma's life will be held in Welland Ave. United Church on Monday July 9, 2007 at 11 a.m. Visitation at the church from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
