Obituary of Roxanne Gisele Pigeon

PIGEON, Roxanne Gisele March 19, 1968 ~ July 7, 2007 With great sadness and sorrow, in a tragic car accident on Saturday, July 7, 2007 in Niagara. Beloved daughter of Micheline and Don Pigeon of Sudbury, sister of Brigitte (Marc) Chantrand, nephews Alexandre, Nicholas and Eric of Calgary. Loving life companion of Charlie Pilliteri. She will be dearly missed by the Pilliteri, Slingerland and Friesen families (Gary, Lena, Connie, Jamie, Lucy, Helmut, Richard, Rachel, Gary, Alex and Julia) and many friends and relatives. Roxanne was the best Wine Export Manager and a breeder/exhibitor of champion Pekingese dogs under the Romiche KuDeTa names. Roxanne's passion for life was contagious and her generosity of spirit will be her legacy. Roxanne's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday July 10th, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 7:30pm. Additional visitation will be held at the Co-Operative Funeral Home in Sudbury (LaSalle location) on Thursday, July 12th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A celebration of Roxanne's life will be held in the Co-Operative Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 13th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
