Obituary of Giuseppe Capacchione
CAPACCHIONE, Giuseppe
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 19th, 2013 at Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 85. Much loved by wife Lena (Elisa). Cherished father of Giselle (Paul) DiFrancesco, Linda (Eligio) Costantini. Loving Nonno of Paul (Dawn), Melissa (Ryan), Stefania (Greg), Jodi (John), Andrew, and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law Maria (Carmen) Marcella, Algisa DiZio, Italia Perilli and Yolanda (Dominic) D'Angelo, of Italy. Predeceased by his brother Antonio (Filomena) and his parents Venanzio and Carmella.
Giuseppe retired after working for the City of St. Catharines after 40 years of service. He was one of the original members of Club Roma, and was also a member of St. Alfred's Church.

Giuseppe's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, May 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 3p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, on Thursday, May 23rd at 9:30a.m., with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the St. Catharines General Hospital would be appreciated.
