Obituary of Francesco De Simone

De SIMONE, Francesco Passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 28th at the age of 61. Cherished husband of Caterina for over 38 years. Loving father of Teresa (Lino) Collevecchio, Laurie (Sam) Pirritano and Antonella De Simone. Much loved Nonno of Matteo and Julianna Collevecchio, and Nicholas, Andrew and Brianna Pirritano. Also survived by sister Teresa (Frank) Pace, brother Vincenzo (Katherine) De Simone and many nieces and nephews. He was a devoted husband and father and was very well respected and loved by his many family and friends. Mr. DeSimone's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, July 31st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 1st at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street at 11am. Entombment to follow Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil Prayers for Francesco in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
