Obituary of Robert John Reece
REECE ROBERT JOHN On Friday February 18th, 2011 after a courageous battle with kidney disease and cancer, Bob, in his 75th year, has gone to a meeting in heaven, with Bill W., his long time friend of 32 years.He leaves behind his loving wife Pat of 54 years, his daughter Sandy and son in law Mike Baines, he joins his daughter Lori who passed away in March, 2000. Papa will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jason, Kevin, Alex and Brittany. Dear brother of Vivian (the late Lorne) Campbell, Isobel (the late Gord) Scott, brother in law Ken (Joyce) Fleeton. He is predeceased by his mother Georgina and father Arthur, mother in law Kay and father in law Joseph Fleeton. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and many good friends. Bob retired from TRW in 1996.
At Bob's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Carleton United Church,527 Carlton St. on Friday February 25th,at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Juravinski Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Russell and Fran, St. Joseph Hospital, Dr. Archibald, Dr. Wright Dr Hotte, the Juravinski Cancer Centre, nurses Judi and Jo-ann for their kindness and care.
