Obituary of Alberto Carmine Santoleri

Santoleri, Alberto- Our very courageous Papa passed away peacefully, with the love and support from his family and friends, at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS, on Tuesday August 07, 2007, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of 60 loving years of marriage to Carmela (Pantalone). Loving Papa to Lidia (Antonio) Malorni, Anna Fortuna, and Dino (Janice Martin) Santoleri. Nonno to Rossella, Michelangelo, Carmelina, Amanda and Jordan. Special Bisnonno to Francesco, Elena, Ilaria, Chiara, and Giulia, all from. Predeceased by his parents Emilia and Comstantino, and by his brother Nicola and his sister Grazietta. In 1968 Papa arrived in Canada with his family as a talented Stone Mason to provid his family with better opportunities. A special thanks to the staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital- ICU. Alberto is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held on August 11, 2007, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal will be held in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday from 6 - 9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Catharines Future Cancer Center.
