In Our Hearts
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new,
We thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too,
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name,
Now all we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame,
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we'll never part,
God has you in his keeping,
We have you in our hearts.

I've known Jim for as long as I can remember. I was only 11 when we first met and just recently celebrated my 34th birthday. Through facebook we had reconnected over the years and I knew that he had surpassed his illness once and prayed thtat it would stay gone forever. My deepest condolences go out to Jim's family and fellow friends. I can remember so many good times at CFB Bordon, and how badly he teased me when I was the only one stupid enough to apply to be a staff cadet in Whitehorse, Yukon and was actually accepted.
Jim was a good man and will be sadly missed by all!

Kim, Ryan & Brianne,
Jim was such a wonderful man. He will live on through all of those that knew & loved him. Know that you're always in our thought & prayers.
I wanted to share this poem that has given me comfort over the years...
I am with you always!
When I†™m gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You mustn†™t tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave to me in happiness
I thank you for the love you each have shown
But now it†™s time I traveled on alone.
So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It†™s only for awhile that we must part
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won†™t be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you can†™t see or touch me, I†™ll be near
And if you listen with your heart, you†™ll hear
All of my love around you, soft and clear.
An then, when you must come this way alone,
I†™ll greet you with a smile, and †œWelcome Home.†

To My Brother
The time has come to say good-bye
I will try not to cry
It's been so hard to let you go
To be in heaven dont you know.
But you did not go alone,
Part of me went with you
The day God took you home.
You will forever be in my heart
Your memory will keep me from falling apart
You should hear the kind words people say
How you touch their lives, in so many ways.
I'm so proud and blessed to say
Thats my brother, in every way.
Thank you brother for all you gave
for everything you showed me along the way
Now i want to say to you, How much i love and
Will miss you.
So rest in peace little brother of mine
I'll see you again, when it's my time.
Forever in my heart xoxo
Your big brother Rocky.

We shared lots of years,
and had a whole lot of fun.
But God has called you
home to his son.
I just can't believe
it has ended this way-
there were so many things
I had wanted to say.
It's too late for that now,
it will just have to wait,
until the day that I see you
at the heavenly gate.
May your soul rest well,
my beloved brother,
but the day is not over,
because we shall share another.
Your tragic death
has left a big hole;
but I'll try not to fret;
your now a free soul.
So when times are great,
and happy as such,
I'll think of you, my brother,
I'll miss you so much.
So goodbye for now, my brother.
I have not one regret.
You were a part of my life
that I'll never forget.
Jim you were the greatest part of us a true hero. The battle you fought and still were there for everyone you touched so many people I will always love and miss you
your forever in my heart
Your Sister Janet

Oh no you don't
Building the garden out front. That was such a fun day. And getting the soil needed to fill it brought a few challenges. You back up your vehicle all primed to unload it. I wouldn't have that. I was the only woman, so I have been told, that could ( perhaps would) tell you what to do. I will always remember not allowing to to haul the earth out of the back of the truck. I trust you know that I did it in love, the brass ovaries helped ;)

We are all so sorry for your loss. We are put a holla holla away dear friends. You have been and will remain in our prayers. May the lord strengthen you and provide comfort for your mourning souls at this time. Here is a poem that I believe is very fitting for what Jim would speak to all of us who mourn his passing.
After Glow
I'd like the memory of me
To be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow
Of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
Whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
And bright and sunny days
I'd like the tears
Of those who grieve,
To dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.
We love you all much and long time.

AND GOD SAID
I said, "God, I hurt."
And God said, "I know."
I said, "God, I cry a lot."
And God said, "That is why I gave you tears."
I said "God, I am so depressed."
And God said, "That is why I gave you Sunshine."
I said, "God, life is so hard."
And God said, "That is why I gave you loved ones."
I said, "God, my loved one died."
And God said, "So did mine."
I said, "God, it is such a loss."
And God said, "I saw mine nailed to a cross."
I said, "God, but your loved one lives."
And God said, "So does yours."
I said, "God, where are they now?"
And God said, "Mine is on My right and yours will be in the Light."
I said, "God, it hurts."
And God said, "I know."
Kim may God Bless you and your Family at such a sad time in your lives,
