Obituary of Brigitte Villemure

Villemure, Brigitte (1954-2011) - After a courageous battle with lung cancer, Brigitte passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side. Beloved and loving mother of Rene Lavallee. Devoted daughter of Jeannine. Cherished sister of Martine (Tony Dinardo), Peter (Diane) and France DiPaola (Vito). Loving aunt of Nick, Andrew, Justin and Joshua. Predeceased by her father Bruno (1994). Dedicated employee of the Niagara Regional Police. Brigitte truly embraced making connections and socializing with family and friends. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street on Wednesday between 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday at 11am at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman St. Vigil Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:30pm. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Regional Police Association - Benevolent Fund or Wellspring Niagara.
