Obituary of Joe Wiebe

Wiebe, Joe "Werner" - On August 9, 2005, at his home in Niagara-on-the-Lake in his 75th year. Loving husband to Marilyn for 43 years. Cherished father to Joe (Deb) of Thorold, James (Sam), Lori Sentineal (Jeff) of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Terrific grandfather to Taylor, Mallory, Wyatt, Michael and Steven. Survived by his brother Peter (Lin) of Kelowna, B.C., sister Ellen Rehan (Fred), sister Elsie of Mexico City, Mexico, sister-in-law Heather Wiebe and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Catherine, sister Vera (2002), brother Alvin (2003), brother-in-law Frank Nellissen and Joe's dog Rocky. Joe was a master mechanic with ABC Construction for over 25 years and finished his career with JCJ Construction for 10 years as "Joe the big Wrench." Joe was a proud member of the Niagara Masons Chapter #2, Niagara Chapter of Royal Arch Masons #55, Plantagent Preceptor #8, York Right #77, Pyramid Council #7, Ishmalia Shrine Temple and the St.Catharines District and Shrine Club Joe is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. Visitation will take place on Friday August 12, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Masonic Lodge service will occur at 7:00pm on Friday. A Celebration of Life will be said on Saturday August 13, 2005 at 11:00am in the George Darte Chapel with Interment to follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tender Wishes Foundation or the Shriners Club of St.Catharines.
