Obituary of Janet (Jennie) Swain

Swain, Janet (Jennie) Peacefully on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Linhaven Home at 87 years of age. Wife of the late Angus, loving mother of the late Margaret Holder, John and his wife Ruth, Christine and her husband Dan Dumont, dear grandma of Vikki Holder, Alison (Mike) Barbas, Darren Swain, Kerrie Swain, Tim (Hayley) Swain, Danny (Melanie) Dumont, Josh (Alana) Dumont, Sarah (Sash) Dumont, great grandma of Jesse, Alicia, Robert Barbas, Andrew Dumont, aunt of Jean (Bill) McIntyre. She is predeceased by many brothers and sisters in Scotland. Mrs. Swain was a member of Star of the Sea Church, Catholic Women's League and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Mrs. Swain is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Star of the Sea Church at 11 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Monday at____p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Canadian Cancer Society , Alzheimer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
