Obituary of Lilija Marija Husic

Husic, Lilija After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Lilija Husic passed away peacefully on Friday August 26, 2005 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 61st year. Beloved wife of Safet, loving mother of Mayra Husic and her husband Alain Charlebois and their children Kiara, Chloe and Mia, Elvis and his wife Denise Husic and their children Samson and Natalie, dear sister of Tina Mancini, Guido (Milita) Grizonic, Paula (Bruno) Auber, Antonio (Anna) Grisonich, the late Luciano Grizonic and his wife Lilijana. Mrs. Husic was a member of St. Alfred's Church and a member of the church choir, she had worked at Stamford Delicatessan for 30 years.Mrs. Husic is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton until Monday August 29, 2005 at 9:30 a.m.. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church on Monday August 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with cremation to follow. Visiting Hours will be held in the funeral home on Sunday August 28, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m.. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Palliative Care Unit of the General Hospital-NHS. We would like to thank her dear cousins Dario and Maria Grisonich and their children, Emil and Nadia Miklavcic and their children, Burch and Lucy Naik and their children for their love, support and prayers.
