Obituary of Alonzo John Charles Williams

WILLIAMS, Alonzo Passed away after a short battle with cancer on Monday, September, 12th, 2005 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 87th year. Survived by his devoted wife of 62 years Phyllis, daughter Sandy and granddaughter Terri (James) Dugas. He will also be missed by his 6 great-grandchildren, sister Margorie in Plymouth, England, sister in law Joan and her family of Canada, and several nieces, nephews and friends in England. Alonzo served his country for 6 years in World War II and enjoyed spending time in his garden. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Friday, September 16th at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
