Obituary of Dr. Morgan Leo Brosnan

BROSNAN, Dr. Morgan Leo Unexpectedly at his home on Tara Farm, on February 11th at the age of 85. He is survived by his loving wife Marina (nee D'Onofrio) and family in Ireland. Predeceased by his sister Sr. Mary Borromeo (1987) in Ireland. Dr. Brosnan graduated from the College of Surgeons in Dublin, qualifying as an M.D.. After studies in Manchester and Southhampton, where he specialized in E.N.T. , he emigrated to Canada receiving a fellowship in Otolaryngology at the University of Toronto. Additional studies took him to New York City and further training in Otology brought him to St. Catharines, where he practiced for the past 50 years. His second passion was his farm, where he bred horses which raced in North America and England. Dr. Brosnan's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, February 16th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 4673 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Thursday, February 17th at 10:30am. Cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Rheumatism and Arthritic Society would be appreciated by the family.
